The Firehouse Media Group was started in the summer of 2010 by a group of young men who live in North Lawndale who participated in a video production class through the Firehouse Community Art Center. The students learned skills, which equipped them in video production, business classes on how to start and run their own video production business. From these classes a few committed young men Sevell, Valen and Brandon formed The Firehouse Media Group other wise know as FMG. The Firehouse Media group provides quality videos in a timely and affordable manner. Due to the FMG being apart of the Firehouse Community Art Center, all funds raised by the business are tax-deductible because of the business being under the Firehouse Community Art Center.
